NOCTURNAL CHRISTMAS IN THE LAND OF CASTLES
Like every year, each castle participating in the Christmas in the Land of Castles operation opens its doors later for one evening to allow you to discover the Christmas trails until 8 p.m., after dark.
This year, this later opening of the Château d’Amboise will take place on December 21.
Price: Included in the classic castle entrance ticket.
Opening hours: Ticket office closes at 7:00 p.m., domain and boutique close for last Christmas shopping at 8:00 p.m.

NIGHT CANDLELIGHT WALK
For this exceptional evening, you are invited to (re)discover the rooms of the royal residence redesigned by the light of hundreds of candles.
Christmas magic and soft lights will offer you a moment of wonder in this unique place. Return to childhood guaranteed!
During this free stroll, you can also enjoy a musical atmosphere with the “La cantilene” choir who will perform the most beautiful Christmas carols. Also present are the His’Loire who will stroll around in Renaissance costumes.
Times: Entry into the castle is via 4 distinct time slots: 6:30 p.m. / 7 p.m. / 7:30 p.m. / 8 p.m. Domaine closes at 9 p.m.
It will only be possible to enter the castle at the time slot selected during the reservation.

COMPETITION FOR THE BEST GALETTE
In the Salle des Lis, the medal ceremony for the departmental competition for the best cake in Indre-et-Loire will take place. Following this, the most gourmands among you will be able to try the best galette in the department!

CHALET OF SWEETNESS
To warm you up and end your visit properly, pancakes, waffles, mulled wine and hot chocolate will be available for sale in the main courtyard of the castle during the afternoons!
